Chelsea could complete midfielder deal with AC Milan this summer

AC Milan could sign Mario Pasalic from Chelsea on a permanent basis this summer.
The Croatian midfielder is currently on loan in Italy, his third loan spell since he moved to Stamford Bridge in 2014.
The 21-year-old has never made a senior appearance for the Blues. And now Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has hinted the Serie A giants could make the move permanent in summer. “Pasalic is a player who did well at youth level, but his progress was stalled by injuries,” he said. “He can come back to being what he was. In Croatia Pasalic is considered to be on the same level as Luka Modric, who is one of the best midfielders in the world. “We had this opportunity, we do have the option to buy and we’ll see what to do next summer.” Chelsea seem to be doing a roaring trade with their unwanted players recently. Out-of-favour Brazilian midfielder Oscar is set to leave Stamford Bridge in January in a £60m move to Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIPG. He’s already said his goodbyes to his teammates ahead of the winter window and he’s expected to be paid £400,000-a-week after taxes.
